Fruit Diet For A Hydrocele

The sufferer of a Hydrocele should begin with an exclusive fresh fruit diet for seven to ten days. In this regimen, he should have three meals a day of fresh juicy fruits, such as apples, pears, grapes, grape-fruit, oranges, pineapple, peaches, melon or any other juicy fruit in season but no bananas or dried, stewed or tinned fruit, and no other foodstuff whatever.

For drinks, lemon water unsweetened or water either hot or cold may be taken. During this period the bowels should be cleansed daily with a warm water enema. If constipation is habitual, all steps should be taken for its eradication.

This should be taken after your initial fruit diet:

Fresh fruit as obtainable, or grated raw carrot or other raw salad-stuff, prunes or other dried fruits, if desired, and a cup of milk.

Steamed vegetables, as obtainable, with either a poached or scrambled egg or a vegetarian savory. Stewed fruit or a baked apple may be taken for dessert.

A good-sized raw salad, of any suitable vegetable as obtainable, with whole wheat bread and butter, and prunes or other
dried fruits as dessert.

Further short periods on the all-fruit diet should be undertaken at monthly intervals as required, for two or three consecutive days each time. The diet factor is of the utmost importance and fruits and salads must form the main basis of the future dietary . Alcohol, strong tea, coffee condiments, pickles and sauces should be avoided.

Smoking, where habitual, should be given up.

Also give yourself a water treatment consisting of 2 cold hip baths per day to reduce swelling and improve overall health.

What Is A Hydrocele?

A Hydrocele denotes a pathological accumulation of serous fluid in a body cavity.

It can also be noted as a minor malformation of newborns due to high levels of lead in the mother's blood during pregnancy.

A Hydrocele testis is the accumulation of fluids around a testicle, and is fairly common.

It is caused by fluid secreted from a remnant piece of peritoneum wrapped around the testicle, called the tunica vaginalis. It can be the result of cancer, trauma (such as a hernia), or orchitis, and can also occur in infants undergoing peritoneal dialysis. It may be treated surgically.

Hydroceles are usually not painful, but neither are testicular tumors. A common way of diagnosing a Hydrocele is by attempting to shine a strong light through the enlarged scrotum. A Hydrocele will usually pass light, while a tumor will not.

One Chinese herbal combination for Hydrocele repair is called Yin Chen Wu Ling San. It is also known as Artemisia Yinchenhao and Five Ingredient Powder with Poria or Capillaris and Hoelen Formula. According to Acupuncture.com it ‘promotes urination, drains dampness, strengthens SP, warms yang, promotes the transforming functions of Qi, clears damp-heat and treats jaundice.

Hydrocele is one of the conditions it specifically mentions as being treated by this combination. http://acupuncture.com/education/zf.formulas/yinchenwuling.htm Another herbal remedy that claims to be effective is a mullein-lobelia combination. Men have “special” glandular problems, also, for example, injured testicles, or those that have not completely descended, etc. One problem that is an unsavory one is Hydrocele. A Hydrocele is an accumulation of fluid in the sac of the tunica vaginalis of the testis. In adults, the cause is unknown and the fluid is clear, slightly viscid, and contains 6-10% of solids, including proteins, salts and sometimes cholesterol.

We have seen a Hydrocele remedied by using the mullein-lobelia combination as a fomentation over the penis and testicle area six nights a week until the healing comes. The tea, or capsules, or tablets, are also used as an oral aid: a cup of the tea or two or three capsules or tablets three times a day. This formula is excellent, not only in aiding the healing in a glandular area, but also to counterattack infection in the glandular system. A product that we found on a number of websites is a Chinese herbal combination called SHY. It claims to bring about excellent results for Hydrocele repair.

The first reason is due to its excellent efficacy that has been evaluated. During observations on 50 patients with noncommunicating Jydrocele, receiving treatment with this herbal combination, 46 cases were judged as healing (full recovery and symptom free), 2 cases other significant improvement. Physicians judged the clinical efficacy to be good or excellent in 96.0%.

During other observations on 39 patients with communicating (congenital) Jydrocele, receiving treatment with this herbal combination, all 39 cases were judged as healing (full recovery and symptom free). Physicians judged the clinical efficacy to be excellent in 100%.

Here are the herbs it contains:

* Rhizoma seu Radix Notopterygii * Ramulus Cinnamomi * Radix Angelicae Pubescentis * Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae * Fructus Viticis * Caulis Spatholobi * Radix Ledebouriellae * Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae * Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong
